Yeah I know there is a chance still, and the Mariners would be very stupid to not be interested in him, but you made out as if you had some kind of inside info and you seemed pretty confident he would be signed, so I thought I better ask if that was still the case, seeing as Lyall and Lawrie have made it pretty clear that Dwight is far from signed (even though that may not be true, which is another reason I asked - in case you knew something more than us)

Yeah, no point changing the coaching team, but if they have plans to bring in a new coach for the youth team or something, Yorke might be the most suitable guy. But in reference to your comment scottmac, no one has any idea, other than the guys in the CCM office.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is asking for too much to be honest. He <i>is</i> Dwight Yorke, after all.

Tobin is the player development manager...it's only logical to assume that he'd be offered the youth coaching job..... he would make a great youth coach.... i believe he was a pe teacher at a high school at some stage.
