ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Setanta sports showed on there news program today berbs at Old Trafford with Sir Alex.
More likely but City are throwing money everywhere Villa, Gomez, Robinho, Berbs etc
New owners look like they have a lot of money to throw around.

The transfer i cannot believe is Robinho to City.
New owner wants to play Champs League within 2 years.
Not much pressure on Hughes now.

0005: TRANSFER CONFIRMED AND MY GOD IT'S A CRACKER
Robinho, the 24-year-old Brazilian, has left Real Madrid and signed for Manchester City. That is officially the biggest deadline day deal in history. Probably.

0007: "I am absolutely delighted to get the opportunity to work with such an incredible talent like Robinho. I have said that in order to compete with the best teams in the Premier League we have to be in the market for players of this calibre, and Robinho is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world."
Man City manager Mark Hughes

Newcastle have completed the signing of Spain Under-21 striker Xisco, 22, on a five-year deal. Fashionably late, I think you call it nowadays.

34 million QUID at the last minute makes your club very happy y'know - pretty sure he didn't have much say in this whole business.

Their starting XI looks f*cking dangerous..... if Hughes can get them gelling together by the end of September then they'll be good odds for top 6 at least.

"Roman Pavlyuchenko will not be eligible for any of Tottenham's European campaign because he played in the first leg of Spartak Moscow's Champions League qualifier.

Pavlyuchenko is expected to complete his transfer to White Hart Lane before Monday's deadline but he cannot play for Spurs in the UEFA Cup."
