ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

they will prob...just harder to get into-as they will only need to replace the 2- year olds that are one year older (21). but they probs take 80% from Academy anyway!!!

Back on topic - what shall we call this youth team?

I vote for the submariners.

Able seamen perhaps? ;D

(And at that age, very able........... :-X)

Im going to revive this thread since we've seen some potential youth players in action. Such a squad IMO should consist of Villazon, this Harper kid from Lightning, Sherlock and McAndrew with D'Apuzzo probably getting a senior position to replace McAndrew as an U21. Perhaps Redmayne as well if we sign a new keeper to cover for Danny

Real Madrid are after him apparently.

Also not sure McAndrew warrants a place TBH. He looks out of place at Lightning so maybe not ready??

What about Kareem?

He's too good for Real Madrid Greenpole, give the kid his dues...... he's taking Zizou's spot for that testimonial game ion Sydney because Zizou saw Kareem play on www.kareemisdagreatestsokkahplayaeva.com and he thought "well shit, there's no way I could ever match up to that.  Ever".

Geez, don't you read his blog??  :p

Guys be very careful. Your bordering on putting Kareem in the league of Chuck Norris.
Could you imagine if Kareem and Chuck Norris had a baby? He could round house kick the ball from his own goal and still score against Brazil.

ROFL-freakin'-COPTOR!!!!

Who was the guy playing in Gumprecht's jersey in the second half for us on Tuesday??  Sharp passing, pretty quick, with a killer first touch.

Brady Smith and Adam Woodbine training with the Olyroos. Assume this means they are two players that will be in the youth squad

They'll both be there for sure, Brady Smith went to Queensland with the A-League squad and made his debut so may even be a chance of the senior squad, he's one for the future for sure.
