Let's leave the past (never forget) and look to the future.
It has been reported that Mulvey is going to bring in youth for this game. Will it be one or two subs or a massive clear out of old dead wood.
Team suggestions please.

Meh. Does not matter who plays. This will be the nail in Mulveys coffin for me. Wonderr what f**ked up formation he'll try this time. Bring back plan a

Shabow showed yesterday that he is willing to give it a go. Start him I suppose. Nothing to lose.
Agree Pearce can stay in goal.

should have a 442. I've got to the point where I'd be happy if we defended like crazy and hoofed the ball up field to see what happens.
I'd love a point.

I would go for
Pearce
McGing Glassock Rowles Clisby
O'Neill
Hiariej Shabow
Millar Murray Pain
Subs:
Munford, Aspro/Golec, Hoole, McDonald, Simon

Basically just try and keep possession until we can hit a run in the channels by Millar/Murray/Shabow/Pain

Mulvey mentioned in last weeks presser that oar will likely be back for this game. Does he come off the bench?

Just watched Jets lose to Perth.

They were much better than the score suggests.

If they play like they did today and we do not improve massively, they could easily slot 5.

Yes !!
Oar really needs to prove himself worthy of a starting spot imho.

"Reputations AIN'T shit"

Fcuk what you've done in the past Tommy it's the here & 'right fcuk'n NOW !!'
..... that & only THAT is ALL that matters when it comes to where CCMFC is atm.

Rule applies to everyone.

Hmm, Jets lost 2-0. Interesting.

Reckon we'll hit a sub-5k crowd? Or will Christmas boost numbers?
Hang on a minute, isn't the Irish Thug back next week?
Yes !!

Somebody put this bloke on the coaching team.

Despite the jets losing today, you still always have the feeling they’ll score and constantly create something with Vargas and Petratos.
They’re a little frail at the back at the moment, but Roy will atleast be on the bench next week so will probably come on and score a double.

I can’t see Mulvey changing much in 7 days if he’s practically changed nothing since pre season.

Travelling fans will bail us out, New Years coupled with fireworks could bail us out the next round. The disaster will be the city and roar(I think) games a couple of weeks later close together and without the benefit of fans up or down the freeway to prop up numbers.

I’ve been really looking forward to this home game after missing the Sydney one and now it’s just looking like a chance to drink and vent my frustrations loudly. Zero expectation of a win.

Nah no way. 7-8k my guess.

I'd like to see a 433 (come 4123 with O'Neil at the base) Think it best suits our depth.
I think Cisse will start despite the last game.

Pearce
Millar, Cisse, Rowles, Clisby
O’neil, Shabow, McDonald
Hoole, Murray, Pain

Bench: Simon. Oar. Kekeris. Golec. Munford

But I fear we'll see Melling back and a lot of complaints.

Few listing Tom H? Is there some news of recovery I've missed or just wishful thinking?

On current form they will touch us up again, Vargas, Petratos and Jair looked very sharp yesterday so our lack of mid field will see them run riot and our defence chase them all game. Perth with two lucky scrappy goals and the Jest with bad luck hitting the post etc. It will not be pretty and we will help them find some scoring form.

I personally don’t think Mulvey changing the team will make any difference, the game plan is just as much to blame as the selections. Seriously think we will go all season without a win as we are so many levels under everyone else.
