Meh not worried and IMHO I would easily have a fully fit Mrdja over him. He will be playing along side Bridge as Kossie will play Brosque as a winger as he doesn't rate his striking abilities. Would rather keep the money and source out a good striker in Asia to partner Petrovski and Mrdja and Matty Simon will continue to learn his trade and will get better and better. You've gotta think what was the better partnership, Mrdja-Petrovski or Aloisi-Petrovski. So let him go I say and let him watch us play in Asia in a side that won't make the finals.

If sydney were paying Juninho 1mil, and we paid JA half that for half a season (reputed figures only), we must think he's worth around a mill and I can't see Sydney's offer being way above that.

If we can only offer 1/3 of Sydney's offer, we must be trying to fit him under the cap. i.e. must have huge marquee plans up our sleeve. Money's not an issue for CCM, so our guys will be trying for the biggest marquee in the league this season. So if Syd get JA we'll find someone better.

I felt the longer JA went on without an announcement as the season came to a fold, the less likely it would have been for us to sign him. Sad, because I liked his style and class on the field, and the likes of Matt Simon lifted measurably when they played alongside him too. Didn't like his attempts at milking penalties though, but hey you're a striker who has people crawling all over you, you have to do something!

I think if CCM HAD only offered him 1/3 of what Sydney has, that it would be an insult TBH. Given what JA has seen on the field, in respect to favourable decisions for Sydney over others, I bet he's licking his lips about lining up numerous spot penalties next year, he he.

Supposedly Aloisi was going to be the Marquee with the retirement of Viddy, so I can't see how money would be a issue with the likes of Singo etc  ???

BA, Aloisi is more than likely to be their marquee, so whatever money he's paid is exempt. Reckon Bridge is going for anywhere between $150 - 200K and I think that's overpriced. Colosotomy: I have no idea what he'd command, but he has to move all the way from Perth so it wouldn't be cheap. But Sydney won't have to pay the ZDonkey anymore, there's possibly room for more payment after they've rid of him and his bloated salary.
