ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Dont forget the entire league is based on the yankee model. As ironic as the socialist yankee system is, it does the job. The mls is growing well and at there expectations unless i am mistaken? So what is the problem for GC using more of their ideas as well?

The MLS in the US does have some problems with their salary structure which is different to ours. The young, up and coming players on the teams' rosters don't get a lot of salary range (basically minimum wage). There was something I saw last year that highlighted the fact that some of these youngsters are only semi professional due to the poor salary they earn as a player. Meanwhile Goldenballs earns a squillion.

Indeed, I like it though, I definitely hope we don't put any "gold" on our ACL strip!

Any reason for being so sure apart from the FFA suggesting we should.

I think it's a requirement for the team that wins the GF.
does that mean scum will be stripped of there "gold" seeing as they aint won shit they can go  "brownish". and still look like shit.

might give the creative side of Newcastle's communal brain a chance to redesign the jersey, add some more blue and red to the chunder top.

I think the gold is a thing commonly done in representative football championships especially the champions league, both Euro and Asia to mark the importance of the event. Most if not all clubs do it for these competitions.

But in saying that im sure Jets will proudly represent Parklea Markets at Urawa Reds stadium with the same chunder jacket theyve been wearing since v1

I don't care about what is done everywhere else, we're the Central Coast and our derby rivals wear that colour, you wouldn't see Celtic wearing Blue because some FA says it's tradition!

In terms of colour I think we are blued out and yellowed out, use green & white/puice and something else.

Cause I'm not wearing white - I'm sick of all jerseys being the same.

Of course you dont care, but i am sure out of all the people who follow the Asian and Euro champions league and football in general, you're a minority.

Gold adds that touch of class which helps recognise such a high grade of competition.

I don't care what they put in there, as long as it looks classy. The ACL jerseys for the Victory look outstanding! Far better than their current strip.

since Adidas owns Reebok does that mean we can use some of the really good Adidas designs when it is redesigned next (starting with the away shirt) instead of the generic Reebok crap? I really like the design but not the colours that Chelsea have for their away kit. If we could go with a similar design and make it our colours i.e. navy blue instead of black and a yellow that is less blinding. As for the away strip I dont like the white away strip rule and I dont like the European idea where they change colour every season and they use council worker colours etc, they should always be an inverse of the home colours or in the case of teams where there are two equal colours, the third colour should be dominant in the away strip. The whole idea of dark being home and white being away came from the days of black and white TV and I think it is redundant in that sense
