ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

2008/09 Draw and Memberships - When will they be out???

I've seen what is apparently the final draft copy of the V4 draw. It has us away to the scum rd 1 and home to the bling rd 2. First week is Friday 14 August to Sunday 16 August, and there are several FIFA date breaks. The only Sunday home game we have is rd 21 against Adelaide.

So, the days of our matches in V4 are already determined?

I think this is weird, as CCM members only received the survey - in which we were asked to give preferences for Friday nights, Sunday arvos, etc. - last week.

Obviously our views are not being factored into the draw for  V4, then.

We also did one last Season, in which game day preference was asked, largely ignored for that season but may be looked at for this season.

It is possible that Premiers and Champions get a better selection of the choice game times! Just hope we get more Saturday Away games!!!!!!!

All Saturday games, save Friday for school holidays, and Sunday at luch time, that's the Omni draw
Knowing that, Friday will be during school term, Saturdays will happen when I'm on holidays and Sundays will be every other game, thus making it so I make NO matches this year, the FFA check my schedule first.

Anyone else interested in Perth Away as well at the end of November?

On first glance the amount of Saturday night fixtures puts me at a disadvantage, being a shift worker.

I can, if I want to, give away any Sunday shift that may clash with a Mariners match (but at the expense of losing a Sunday shift at double time rates = many$$ lost), but under my EBA/Award I can't 'hand in' a Saturday.

My options are to ask for each Saturday I want off, to the Roster Clerk and see if she can change my days off around and give me a day off on the requested Saturday, or see if I can swap a Saturday shift (unlikely) with someone else. Asking for the Saturday off usually means putting the request in BEFORE the month's roster is posted up at the start of the monthly cycle.

I do 2 Saturdays a month, and work evenings for two Fridays a month.

Given all the Saturday & Friday games, I am going to have to sit down and check when I will be working by forecasting on my existing Master Roster, and see whether a season ticket is worth it this year.

Omni, you wanna take my seat son, as there barely any Sunday games this season!
