ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Perth play Friday before our game as well I believe?
And they have a higher age average so hopefully they might wear thin fairly quickly!

Alen Stajcic "If it is going to take three pens every week to beat us I think we're in a good spot."

To correct that

"If it is going to take three pens every week to beat us I think we're in a good spot - unless Fielding is the ref and Ams is the on the VAR."

they only have to be involved often enough to tip us out of the play offs .
these guys have a repeated history of dodge decisions . their removal from the a-league can't be negotiable.

What's to train? Honestly, how can you be at the level to be in charge of running a professional football game yet lack the "training" to tell what every half blind football punter in the world can tell you. They're either absurdly incompetent or malicious cheats. Either one should disbar them from officiating.
This, especially around the first penalty. You’d be hard pressed to find someone who believed that was ok yet VAR did not push a review or overrule on advice only. It’s not a tech issue, it’s not a process issue, it’s a people issue and there’s only one solution.

This laziness or incompetence has also been lately with the handover / covid draw making and the whole running of this year.
I get the frustration but COVID leaks aren’t their fault or foreseeable, at least on a specific state level, and the WA hard border is the main issue. The only two answers are progress as is or force Perth in to a hub.

I thought I was ready to read this thread after so long. I was wrong and am still fuming
Not much we can do now but prepare for next week
If anything I can find 3 positives somehow
1 Kuol leading the golden boot
2 We might get our first proper look at Dan Hall next week
3 WE’RE STILL TOP OF THE LEAGUE

I think once the var official wants a review for infringements like that he should notify the match official without any information exchanged between the two and the match official looks at it again to see if he would over turn his decision based on the replay. The issue I believe is two officials that each might have a different interpretation of the rules.

It's all been said already and l concur with a lot of it. They just can't be having the small team do well, it's as simple as that. We've come good and suddenly a Sydney team isn't on top. Very conspiracy areas l know but it's just how it feels.

And after all this, we're still 4 points clear at the top. Should be 7. Still nuts to think about ha.

I don't buy into the proven record theory even though there's substantial evidence to the contrary. VAR is here to stay they just need to get rid of differing interpretations than that of the match official. We need one person in charge again. If they don't surrender control of VAR decisions to the match ref then they should put an ex player in the control room.
