i brought an extra ticket last week for 40 bucks
Maybe not a problem with restricted access - but when full houses are allowed again keeping away visitors and even casual locals at this price will just keep crowds low. There needs to be a differentiation from members price. However, I sit on halfway on the western side in row 5 for less than $22 a game. Where was your $40 ticket?

Apart from giving the Cows a good milking, the other battle will be watching Staj dominate Ante Milicic (especially after the Matilda’s fiasco).
milicic is okon ball . jolic is number 2 . their a good side but one style of football .
we might'n have the legs in our kids . but as mossano said staj will own them .

Interesting dilemma on how to freshen the team with such a quick turn around.

We started with

------------------Birra-----------------
Nigro---- Tongyik---Rowles----Clisby
Nisbet-----Stens----Bozanic---Casella
---------Simon------Kuol

Happy to keep Casella in the team to be replaced by Smylie when he tires. The three that I worry about most are Nisbet, Simon and Nigro. Nizzy worked incredibly hard - as did Matty (who is not getting any younger) and Nigro I'm not sure how fit he would be.

Matty was very influential defensively at set pieces as well so it would be hard to drop him.

They have a very good first XI - but it is an old first XI. Are they up to quick turn around games so early in the season?
Agree, This is possibly where we will get an advantage. The young guns will certainly recover better.
I think our midfield will prevail and I'm really looking forward to battles between Stens and Milligan.

Benat will start for them and he’s seemed to of been underestimated by some in the football community here, he is an absolutely incredible player for this league even at 33

I’m hoping DDS starts over Simmo for this one. The only chance we have to snatch a win is have pace around their CB’s. Susnjar and Jovanovic are extremely slow especially on the turn, that’s their truest weakness.
milligan, puyo and benat starting together automatically gives them 60%+ possession imo.
Casella, Kuol and DDS’s speed will be pivotal on the break after Niz and Stens win some tackles.

najar for them is so overrated he was dodgy AF in the first game, Bernie will be better for a run out and that young Rose kid is going to give Clisby nightmares, I know it won’t happen but I’d like to see hatch thrown in to match rose’s speed and enthusiasm.

I’m not ruling us out, I’m so impressed by Niz and Stens and those 2 with Ollie could really get under the skin of their midfield with the pressing, tackling and driving through midfield.
there’s a good amount of hope, but it’s a big early test for our young boys. Ollie could be the crucial factor

I think they’ll have too much quality for us unfortunately but do want to see us fight for every ball and show we won’t roll over. The difference is funds and they’ve got a lot more to spend plus their players are actually here.

But if we manage to pull it off more than a few people will start taking notice :vhappy:

Great review. I also think Ollie is the key for us. (Bernie plays for the Wanderers so thats not a factor, he butchered an easy chance)

I actually fancy us for this one. Houso's keeper kept them in the game for the last one. They definitely have quality in the Midfield and Derbyshire is quality for the A League.
