ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners Squad - 2019-2020

Problem is that are likely to pay overs if we are to attract any decent players to the squad. And if we are going to spend 90% of the cap again this money will chew up fast.

Possibly - top of the list is retaining what we want to keep. Personally, I would want to keep Birighitti, Gordon, Eun-sun & Duric or replace them with at least an equivalent. After that getting the right 2 or 3 extra visa players should convince any returning Aussies or other HAL players we are serious and hopefully avoid paying overs (or at least not too much over).

TBH though we need to be using at least the full cap going forward. We have been unperforming for far too long. We may not be able to spend as much as the top 2 or 3 clubs - but we need to be spending similar to the rest - not just for the next season - but on an ongoing basis. How this is funded is a problem for the owner and the CEO.

Ohh...... shit.
Muzz is fine if we're not pinning all our hopes on him. Good work rate and attitude, should have a few more but hasnt been as bad as some here would imply. Next season Matty should be done, Jair will likely be gone. We'll have a kid or two to throw some minutes to but need an acceptable squad player. Lots of teams have them, Blackwood for Adelaide comes to mind first up as an equivalent. I'd say Athiu is worse and a Victory regular. Yeboah has worse stats for WSW this year. All those blokes have better teams behind them too.

Having Murray on the books is fine but we need a starting quality striker as well (plus some service) or we're doomed to repeating history.

Muzz hit one last match from outside the box. It flew over the top.

However, it had the keeper well beaten and was definitely heading in by a good 12 inches (old school) until a late gust took it over.

I think Matty will be here next season. Coming on as a sub like now.

As much as we need his fire at the moment I can't see that being a positive move next season. By all means keep him around the club but the bloke's 34 now, on more money than his performances warrant and doesn't score enough goals from open play. We need renewal and Matty taking up minutes doesn't do that.

Let's take a moment to wish Tommy Oar some luck living in Campbelltown next year.

Great place that

I agree,it is a great place.
I lived there for 30 years and watched the place grow from a sleepy backwater into a vibrant modern metropolis.
Before anyone puts the place down I suggest they take a drive down there, they didn`t grant them an A League licence for nothing....

I have a coastie mate who moved to Wilton. Would rather follow us than jump ship and have to follow a team from Campbell town.

When the A League started I followed Sydney FC.
When I moved to the Coast it was an easy decision to follow the Mariners as I was friends with JC and LM from my time at Macarthur.
Having been here now for 13 years I can`t not follow the Mariner`s.
I will always have a soft spot for Macarthur, but the Mariner`s are my team.
They take me on an emotional roller-coaster every season (the bastards) and I get to spend time with my dad going to games and sharing the emotions.
Yes,they piss me off when we don`t win (last week hurt more than the Roar GF loss) and I feel like walking away, but they are my addiction.
I have a week to recover and fall in love with them all over again, then live in hope of the next win.
It`s what I do,I`m a football fan.
MARINER`S `Till I DIE ....
