confidence is our problem. If we concede 1 goal we'll concede 4. We had a chance before that dodgy penalty.

We showed what we CAN do. we played really well until the turning point - even losing Cisse. Once that penalty and that 2nd goal, we were gone. And that's confidence.

The problem is that individually across the season, there have been a raft of positives to take from performances, only to be let down by individual actions or heartbreaking finishes.

Unfortunately each one for the last 9 weeks has resulted in a loss and any positives - including tonight's - can't gloss over a losing streak of this magntiude.

The blame for this loss falls squarely on Kalifa Cisse IMO. Everything ran fairly well til Cisse's brain snap.

I think it’s unfair Melling was playing well tonight. Playing in unfamiliar position with only 10 men. I’m not a fan of Melling but I don’t think he deserves criticism tonight

I actually think we played well enough until the heads went down....except I thought his subs were terrible, had the complete wrong strategy there.
