ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Melling just posted on Instagram 5 minutes ago a clip of his child in front of him in his house. I’m bloody hoping this means he’s been left here.

Not good ......... I
Well I'm watching a competitor for the spoon. Roar are playing absolute garbage. But.... They can score goals.

Well if you can give them credit for a scramble penalty and an own goal. It was a nice cross though ....... remember what they are ???

I had a dream last night that we absolutely destroyed the Nux. I put it down to too much Balvenie 14 year old before bed, rather than any ability to foresee the future.

However, if this dream does become true, in the future I expect to be treated as an oracle and have all here bow (slightly) when they meet me, buy me beer and address me as "O Great One".

I have spoken.

It would seem that this is probably the least anticipated game in the history of the club. I get the impression that the commiserating beers will be opened even before kickoff.

I'm still going to flipping watch it, of course. And after the game (probably during) complain that I shouldn't have watched it and that I'm not going to watch the jest game (knowing full well that I will).

f**k the beer. If somehow you drinking 14yo Balvenie causes the team to win, I think we all need to crowdfund you a barrel of the stuff.

The bookies fancy us more than they did for the Wanderers game...which is weird.

Probably just bored at the airport and posting stuff from the phone.

No Tom I don’t see Melling being left at home

I remember not so long ago we went through a period of 3 years when we not only didn't beat the Nix, we didn't even score against them. I hope history isn't going to start repeating...

Aspro played youth this morning. Was only first teamer.

Kekeris was not in the youth squad. Possibly on the plane

I'm working later this afternoon and will miss watching the game. With all the negativity around (myself included) I'm hoping against hope that Muzza steps up and announces himself on the HAL stage. I think he can be another NPL pickup to shine like Millar has in recent weeks.

Melling reminds me a bit of Monty.
He`s a fearless tackler, a little reckless at times, although he wins a lot of balls.
Hi passing,at this stage, is not good but he never gives up.
I think in time he will be a stock player, but he needs to work hard on his distribution.

Can get on the Nix @1.72 with sportsbet. Seems like a lot for pretty much a sure thing?

He should have worked on it by now ......... if he was of a mind to at all ???

That’s not a bad looking squad, up there with the best we could expect with the ins and outs. If the formation is right we might be in with a shot.

Main concern would be only 1 DM if Mcging is still playing RB which you’d expect with that squad. I can’t help but wonder if you’re better off starting golec over Simon or mcglinchey (either probably works) and pushing Mcging into DM but I’ll wait and see what the setup is before being negative.
