ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

We just need a bit of quality was his final sentence.o_Oo_Oo_O
Mike, You have some real quality....his name is called Tommy H but for some f**king weird reason you chose to play a muppet in his spot.

I'm not sure what is impairing your ability to see the f**king obvious. Melling is a draft horse and Tommy is a stallion.

Maybe you are dummer than we thought Mike so let me put it another way. Leave the f**king Barina in the garage next week and let's bring the Merc/Jag/Beemer to next weeks game for f**k sake.

Oh, Also give Mumford a run in goals.

I’m a new member to the forum, although I’ve been reading many posts and learning a lot about football from you all (and perhaps a thing or two about online dispute resolution :)). My young boys play soccer and love the game and thru that, they like I love the club and want to see it succeed.

Tonight was most disappointing for all fans as I genuinely thought we were a chance and a win would lift the team, club and coast. That said, please don’t give up supporting our club with its proud history. Sure, things haven’t clicked on the field yet and may not for some time but I’d rather have a struggling team to support than no team at all.

I think those calling for Mulvey to go are missing the point. Do we really think a new coach mid-season is the answer? Mulvey has a good track record in the A-League, albeit at a different club, and we have some quality off the field at the moment. Stay the course all, things can only get better from here...[/QUOTE

I think most people don't really want Mulvey out we are just frustrated (and venting) at how shit we are and Mulvey is making it worse but not picking his best 11.

Hahaha.
Heard that before Sorry but this is an all time low with the best squad we've had in years. Unless Mulvey chooses a style sticks to it and let's the players form some confidence and connections then we are f**ked. I can't see us winning a game as it is right now. Phoniex are playing very well and will destroy us. Just let that sink in.

This sounds like my posts for the last 5 seasons. Welcome aboard, but don't mind me. At the moment I am being a little self indulgent and joining in the goo feasting.

GOOD POST
Have been there since game 1 , will be here thru thick and thin ,
If you sign average players then you get left behind , A-League is naturally improving ,THATS THE REALITY , we've been doing this for too long .Our owner has to be the one to recognise this. We all have and so have our rivals......

Mulvey said he wanted to restore a winning culture back to the club , I know it takes time for change , a can accept all that , but we're not moving forward at all , our results in previous weeks is a case of better teams lifting our standard in order to keep up with them . I know I'm just having a rant but I'm just over the shit football we have had to digest over last 4 seasons . It wasn't long ago when we were trying to broaden our appeal to a wider audience and increase the revenue for this football franchise we are apart of ,the answer is simple give people a team that's worth watching. I was reluctant to renew this year benefit of the doubt got the better of me but it won't next year .

Have to say that Okon would be performing better with this squad. He had a better start with a worse squad

Like where the hell do you start. You pick the best 11 but then MM tactics don't fit in with that 11. So then we play our best 11 doing something foreign to them. This seasons over already.

We are clearly the worst team in the comp. It's just so frustrating year after year we just get served with this crap.

I think a lot of the problem comes down to coaches philosophy and them being wedded to it.

Wlamsley wanted a side to play entertaining football, and was wedded to that at the expense of results.

Okon wanted a side to play possession based football at the expense of results.

Mulvey said he wanted to get the Central Coast Spirit back and give the fans a team they would be proud of even if they lost. He is so tied upon picking players that are showing excessive enthusiasm that he is blind to their lack of ability at this level. He is then leaving quality players who have probably more knowledge of the game than he has on the bench because they are not seen to be enthusiastic enough.
Another problem is that he brought back Matty and Wee Mac trying to find the past. Unfortunately their best is well in the past.

Mulvey has become wedded to a side who will play with passion at the expense of results by picking players for that passion rather than ability.

Manage a team to play good winning football. That is all the fans want. Passion for the Club will come.

Keep producing crap football and you saw what passion results when you watched the last game of last season.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
It’s clear Fkn Mulvey is insane...he keeps trotting out the same morons expecting a different result

I don't think any other team went into the season without a 1st choice keeper and without a RB.
That rubbish can only be on Pikey.
The pre season was shambolic due to the Bolt circus which was fun but counter productive.
Mulvey steadied the ship but is doing some weird shit ATM.
I still believe he is a good coach but the training sessions are too soft and I never see them working on individual errors or improvements.
