3 years ago to the day, that one 'Jacob Poscoliero', was sitting on the bench & couldn't get a game for the Blacktown City Demons in a game vs the Central Coast Mariners Academy side that smashed the living daylights out of Blacktown: 8 - NIL.

Amazing to see how far Posco's come, imo one of the most consistent performers for us last season at CB, possibly even our best for what was a terrible 2015/16.
Think he will be pivotal in various roles in the back 4 this year.

Nike has created a rainbow-tinged sensation, blending hot pink, yellow orange and lime green for 2016/17 broken up by big bold back pentagons overlaid on semi-hexagons and a seamless shell.
It's a colour variation of the English Premier League's new ball leaked recently which went to the other end of the spectrum for shades of blue, green and purple.
FourFourTwo got an early peek of the new ball, dubbed Ordem by Nike - and will put it through its paces on the pitch shortly...

Coasties go booze-free for Dry July to help cancer patients

While many Coasties were toasting success, or drowning their sorrows in the wake of the polls this weekend others took a more sober approach to the election.
Hundreds signed up to the Dry July fundraiser — where participants go booze-free for a month to raise money to help cancer patients — ditched the champers and schooners for water and soft drinks.
Dry July officially launched around the country on Friday, the day before the country went to the polls, and this year 107 Coasties have already signed up to go booze-free for the month to support adults affected by cancer.
On the Coast, all nominated proceeds go to Central Coast Local Health District’s CoastCanCare Wellness Program which is almost entirely funded by the proceeds from Dry July.
“CoastCanCare provides free wellness programs for Central Coast adults diagnosed with cancer, including complementary therapies such as stress management, music therapy, exercise, self-care, pain management and tai chi,’ said program co-ordinator Tia Covey.
Coast resident and cancer patient Stewart Lee credits the program with transforming his life.
“I’m so grateful for the wonderful support, practical information and actions. I’m now planning for my future and am writing my ‘to do’ list. I feel more in control of my life, my future,” Mr Lee said.
“I only wish I had attended earlier. The wellness program put the colour back into my life, full of music and a zest for living life to the fullest.”
Mariners assistant coach and former captain John Hutchinson has signed up with the program, along with Central Coast Express Reporter Geraldine Cardozo.
“It’s a great opportunity to get healthy while also supporting the local community,” said Ms Cardozo.
So far more than $10,000 has already been raised for the program.

CENTRAL Coast Mariners’ decision to sack former coach Phil Moss last year has cost the club close to $500,000 after his case for wrongful dismissal was settled on the eve of going to court.
Moss secured what is believed to be the biggest payout over a coach’s sacking in A-League history, having been dismissed just seven months into a three-year contract in March last year.
The former Manly coach had claimed the balance of his $150,000 salary plus breach-of-contract damages, while both sides had accrued substantial legal costs after a succession of preliminary hearings.
The Daily Telegraph understands a settlement was only agreed just before a full hearing was due to take place earlier this month, at which Moss would have been cross-examined about his experiences at the club.
After serving as Graham Arnold’s assistant from July 2010 at the Mariners, Moss stepped up to succeed Arnold when he left to coach in Japan in November 2013.
Initially appointed for two-and-a-half seasons, Moss signed an upgraded deal the following August that was due to run until next year.
But amid a run of disappointing results, he was “stood aside” in March last year, having rejected the offer to resign just before.
It’s believed that negotiations over a payout stalled immediately, with Moss determined to secure the bulk of the monies owed to him under the terms of his upgraded deal.
Both Moss and the Mariners declined to comment on the settlement, citing confidentiality clauses agreed to in the deal.
It comes with the Gosford club preparing to open their FFA Cup campaign next week away to Victorian Premier League side Green Gully, with a squad including several new signings such as former Sydney FC duo Mickael Tavares and Jacques Faty."
