ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Yeah. Pretty disappointed by the material of the scarves. YA ones weren't the same designs as we'd planned either. Oh well, we move on!!

5372 members earlier this morning, and still rising. f**king phenomenal.

So my 6 game membership arrived this morning, within 5 days from signing up so im pretty happy with that.

This included sticker, fixture card and membership card.

Can anyone confirm if the membership card just required my to rock up at the gate at bluetongue on any given game day and scan to let me in?

I am assuming that it is linked to an account somewhere and will just deduct 1 until I reach 0 games remaining thence stop working?

And further to this... I am assuming these new membership packages will cause some complications for Bluetongue staff when it comes to selling tickets?

I mean, lets just say the club sold 1000 3 game members....but with no way of telling which game they are going to show up to, does that mean automatically there will be 1000 less tickets available for every home game before its declared sold out? Even though possibly 0 of the 3 gamers could show up?

I only ask in the case of the Western Sydney game, very real chance it will sell out...but what does that mean?

I was wondering that myself, did anyone get a limited game membership last year? Anyone know what the go is?

Why don't you guys do a custom run with your original design from one of them websites where you can make custom scarfs?

Restricting Mariners mates to the first 1500 through the gate vs Drive Bys.

Yeah I just read that too. A bit weak but at the same time, fair enough. Had they announced that any earlier or is it a recent announcement?

I think it's fair enough... It's nothing new either. I think it was reiterated when they announced the new MM setup a couple of months ago, but certainly, my young 'un has been a MM for the last couple of years and there's been a cap on all that time, just really became relevant I think... There'd be quite a few of them that are also potentially covered by their parents' memberships etc. I think...

Well it was the Mariners mates who were among the 3,000 people who didn't bother to turn up today.

Concept needs to be killed off. Buy a ticket or watch on TV.

went to pick up my Gold membership pack (scarf/cap) at the game, only to be told that they'd "run out" ! surely they would have known how many memberships in each category they had, and how many were likely to want to pick up scarves and caps, especially as this was the first game and a sell-out so all members expected to be there. I hadn't brought a cap with me, thinking I'd get one at the game...as a "sunny side" (Eastern stand) member I was very pissed not to get one. My bald head did NOT appreciate the sun and I'm suffering a bit now. Not happy at the poor planning.

. sorry to hear you guys had problems ... you were certainly not the only ones and unfortunately not the only ones from the eastern side (where we also sit)

. we had actually volunteered with the club and were handing these packs out ... we didn't know that there was not enough until supplies were completely exhausted (we had to keep going back for more)

. unfortunately all we could do was apologise and guess that the recent uptake in members left the mariners under-prepared for the numbers they actually needed on the day. in hindsight they should have let people know beforehand rather than hoping not everybody came asking for their stuff on day 1

. thankfully most people were understanding but i suggest you bring it up with the club

Yeah, I had a limited membership last year, my impression too, was that this is what happens... I don't really have much to base it on though, other than that it seems to be the simplest way to approach it.
I actually think the club should consider, as a minimum, offering a member upgrade option when buying tickets, so that GA members wanting an undercover seat for a single game for example, can notify the club and through that, effectively offer an additional GA seat in sales. In my head, it seems a reasonably simple way to deal with some of the seating issues.
I like the MM concept, but perhaps it'd be worth it setting up a ticket registration type system for them as well, requiring them to login and register for entry if they want to go, if we assume that the majority don't go to anywhere near every game.
Then again, this sort of thing costs money and we're not exactly "the flush club" I suppose ;)

. i don't know how simple that would be to implement ... but yesterday was a prime example - plenty of vacant seats in a 'sell out' so those vacant seats must have been allocated to somebody. the worst part is that the club may not have received any revenue for them ... and perhaps they could have

. case in point ... pre-game we met a 'random' couple in gosford and started chatting to the game. they were fully decked out in mariners gear and were looking forward to the game ... as the conversation continued it came out that they didn't have tickets 'yet' ... we had to tell them it was a sell out. i don't know if they were able to see the game

Thats a total shame if they missed out considering there were so many empty seats despite being "sold out"
