ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Perth seem to have strengthened the most so far though I think Vadocz and Sandor are a big loss. Adelaide signing a promising bunch to replace their last promising bunch it will be interesting to see how they go. Victory are looking substantially weaker they desperately need some quality signings.

Victory linked with a segunda division defensive midfielder/centre back. If he performs like the other Spaniards signed from there he could be a good and most likely cheap option for them.

Jets snap up promising young keeper:

Newcastle Jets have snared a coup in 23-year-old goalkeeper Jack Duncan from Norwegian club Randers FC as they bolster their goalkeeping stocks for the 2016/17 season.

Duncan is ready to hit the ground running and is already gunning for Birighitti's number one jersey.

“I feel like I am definitely ready to become the number one and that’s definitely what I have come here to do,” Duncan said.

“I don’t want to be sitting on the bench.”

“It will be healthy competition between us going through pre-season and battling for the number one spot. It’s exciting, it’s good, it will challenge both of us and hopefully make us both better.”

Newcastle Jets head coach Scott Miller was pleased with his addition, that continues his philosophy of nuturing young talent.

“Jack is another player we have added to our squad who fits our requirements in terms of age and attributes,” Miller said.

“From our discussions with Jack it is very clear that he has returned determined to establish himself as a number one in the Hyundai A-League, and this is fantastic for us because we also have another very capable goalkeeper at the club in Ben Kennedy.”

“Across our squad we are building competition for places."

We still need another quality CB imo & could be handy if Faty fails to fire or falls into periods of 'fcuk-ups' (which he had whilst at SydFC).

Sherrif would provide good mentoring to the younger players with his experience gained in the gritty lower leagues.

Still would prefer Gallifuoco on a 2-3 year deal though, think he could become the next Sainsbury for us to $ell on & has the abillity to play at DM with a style similar to Jedinak in that position.

win - win.
