ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

FOR new Central Coast Mariners A-League skipper Nick Montgomery Tuesday night’s FFA Cup clash against Wellington at Gosford cannot come quickly enough.
After weeks of training, it’s finally down to business and the players are itching to go.
Montgomery (pictured) said the club was desperate to put the horrors of last season behind them with a positive effort at Central Coast Stadium.

“Last season wasn’t good, especially for this club after all the success we’ve had, but that’s done now, it’s all about this season now and things are looking very good,’’ Montgomery said.
“We’ve got fresh ideas with Tony (coach Tony Walmsley) and it’s exciting to be involved. I think it’ll be a good year for this club.’’
If he pulls up well after trial runs this week, Walmsley hinted that recruit Roy O’Donovan was likely to play a big part on Tuesday.
“We want to perform well on Tuesday but for me the big picture is being ready for the start of the A-League, it’s all about October for us,’’ Walmsley said.
The coach said a real focus during the pre-season has been on fitness.
“That’s always the case obviously in a pre-season, but for us we want to play a high pressure, relentless style and physically the players need to be a position to achieve that week after week,’’ he said.
“I think last week would have been one of the most challenging the players have been involved in for some time.’’
Walmsley said he would not lock in his starting side until after today’s trial clash with the Wanderers at Coffs Harbour.

C'mon Kev, don't let the troops down mate!

The only positive thing is we have gone to 433 instead of our older "we are not worthy" formation.

I think Heffernan has just signed a contract... Hat-trick in what? 5 minutes?

Let's just hope that he's not a Sim and this is his peak...

Sim scores his goals against the worst team we have ever played against.....and probably against the advice of his coach..."now go out there and play the ball backwards no matter what.....lets secure the draw"
