ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Your standard Scummer.

I work on the central coast and can asure you, that it is just as bad, if not worse then Newcastle. The same type of people in both towns, you have to get over this repetitive bullshit after every game. Losing sucks ay?

"Don't worry son! Just run through it. It's probably your own shit and piss anyway."

AWABAAAAAAA

And we wonder why so many trolls come on here after they beat us and take the piss.

Im all about growing the Marinators, do we really need to go down this road every time we play 'em?

i dunno fish. but it actually happened.... just not the 'its your shit anyway'.

i dont usually join in with the fuelling of 'trolls' that goes on here... but i just found it too funny.

if i were a newy fan, i wouldnt bag us about beating us... i would bag us about our fans wanting to sit down and watch the soccer. i wasnt even allowed to stand up in the supporters bay.

moses and i were having a chat with a decent newie fan on the way back to the station, walking across the paddock thing... he couldnt believe it that it happened. they have it well established that the supporters bay is for standing and singing and their fans know that so they avoid it.

fans going to an away game can do what they want mate, if you were told to sit down maybe move. The away bay was not a standing bay.

i know they can do what they want. but why not just buy a ticket for somewhere else in the stadium like many others and let the ones in the supporters bay stand? its not like we had a better view there or anything.

i couldnt move because it was allocated.

as someone said earlier mate its the SUPPORTERS bay not the Marinators bay unfortunately.

Allocated wasnt an issue for the 30 or so blokes up the back who had seats everywhere but where we were.
Well have something organised for the return leg so this sort of thing doesnt happen again

if it is a SUPPORTERS bay then why are there only TWO OF EACH, "home supporters" and "away supporters" bays. What does that mean about the rest of the ground? Who do they support?

maybe it should have said " away supporters bay who wish to stand and if that bothers ,you f**k off to another bay" ::)

Bay 16 isnt a Marinators bay either - its a supporters bay, and people don't go there hoping to sit (except for people at the front socialising). I don't understand why the same doesn't happen at the away games...thats just the point I am trying to raise. Newcastle fans wishing to sit just sit anywhere at Bluetongue so the squadron can carry on, and some of our supporters do it at EAS. I just wish they all had that attitude.

Were you down the front of bay 10? Because I think you were in front of me because Moses was a few down the row from me. I was extremely pissed off with those behind me as well as to my right for making us sit down

nah man, i was in bay 11, a few rows back from where jesus and his mates were (who were in bay 10).

the problem is, they are within their right, just as fish said.

it just annoys me that they had to buy tickets for the only place people like to stand, when there is an entire stadium they can sit down in comfort with a better view.

Just the people in front of me were pretty fired up and wouldve nearly decked one of the dudes telling us to sit down IMO

No matter where you come from/support, that is just plain idiotic jumping in storm water drains. Especially with heaps of kids looking on. People died in these drains in June BTW. You can't do anything about the drains, but surely our council could do something about a stupid little bridge like that and make it bigger. Its a bottleneck at both Jets and Knights games.

agreed.

with all jokes aside... it is very silly on the council's behalf.

people get extremely frustrated, and are already fueled by the match... its only a matter of time before a fight breaks out and someone gets seriously injured - seeing as there is so many people packed in trying to get over the bridge - little kids, elderly people etc.

Sorry, can I have a quote/source for people drowning in these drains?

There were around 8 deaths in those floods from memory, none of them in Newcastle or it's immediate surrounds.
