ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hungary look to be on their way back, they're sitting 2nd in the group. They'd just have to hope it isn't another false dawn.

Good to see Northern Ireland having a good old crack at qualifying. Toping their group which has Czech Republic.
England are improving under Cappello and sitting pretty on 15 points. They will probably only need 4 points to guarantee qualification. They need a fit Michael Owen to play with Rooney and Crouch for any chance of making an impact on the World Cup.

Michael Owen will never play again for England
and i dont think Crouch is the one that should be with Rooney, Heskey is a great target man, bit like Dukes, Agbonlahor when fit is a great player, many spots up for grabs

Many people said Beckham would never play for England and look at him now record cap winner. Never say never with a player of the quality of Owen.
You just have to read the English press and all the hype around Michael to see how important the nation all think he is to the national team.

And neither Beckham nor Owen have been anywhere near the best there has been. Just shows that people hype up modern footballers far too much.

Ballack's goal.

this was the only highlight of the match
although Germany won 2:0 (the 2nd goal was an own goal of Wales) the match was very boring as were the last matches of the national team...

Scotland v Iceland is on Setanta at 11pm  :)

Hello??.......

Anyone?.......

Ah well I'll watch it maself.

Dont know how im gonna sleep tonight. Didnt know the score when I watched. Heart in the mouth in the final minutes. Whew that was close. Best football I've seen Scotland play for a while. Pity they have to include that waste of time Miller.

More games like that are needed to catch up with the other teams in second. Still hope yet.
