ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Don't worry about it, once I get onto my home computer I will add something like this under the 'Support' section of the Jets' wiki entry:

'The Jets core support group is called The Squadron. They are widely hated by opposition fans because their demographic consists largely of shirtless, drunken youths inspired by such films as 'Green Street Hooligans' and 'Football Factory'. Fans have been known to throw coins at opposition players, steal chants directly from the hugely successful Newcastle Knights Rugby League team, and are infamous for only making noise at the start of a match or when the Jets are leading on the scoreboard.

'The Squadron came into existence in season 1 of the A-League in 2005-06, and were virtually non-existant to start with. In a memorable home semi final against local rivals the Central Coast Mariners that season, the home fans were embarrasingly out-sung and outnumbered by the Mariners fans. However, when the Jets became more successful they suddenly found fans, and it wasn't uncommon to see Newcastle fans arrive at games wearing brand new jerseys which they used their latest dole-cheque to purchase (95% of Jets fans are reportedly unemployed, with the other 5% making a living through underworld dealings such as theft, drug dealing and prostitution).'

Hoshit, I disappear for a week or so and some piece of crap vandalises the article. Nice to see other people at Wikipedia are watching it :) </sarc>

It was blatant vandalism rather than some attempt at adding real information; I removed it a couple of days ago, so all should be good. Stuff like this isn't the sort which make Wikipedia look unreliable, because it was obviously shit; it's when you get errors which could be realistically considered to be legitimate and true content which is the problem.
