If best at time of playing for us, Mr Beauchamp has got to be there for his dominating Grand Final performance. Jedinak has to be close with Tommy lurking there somewhere and Aloisi not far away.

If best players but not necessarily while with us, it's Bosnich, then daylight, with Aloisi and Vidmar behind.

Rusty Woodruffe is plugging away in QLD State League still trying to make a go of it. Not sure whether his form is such at the moment that an expansion club will go for him this year, but I wonder as the talent is stretched by the four new teams whether we'll see names like his start to surface again?

Whilst Mile is one of the best players ever to wear the yellow shirt, does the fact that a current player is ahead reflect the growth in our fanbase since v1?

I also think that the clear crowd favourite (rather than on here) would easily be Gumps
