ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ernie Merrick. He’s an old school coach, bringing the same Scottish spunk & success as Lawrie McKinna.

Another name who would be somewhat of a risk but by heck would put us in the media... What about Harry K... done his time doing quite a low ranked team now... has indicated he wants to coach in the A-League

If putting us in the media was a key criteria for the new coach then we should maybe look at Usain Bolt. ?

Kewell certainly has experience of basket case owners at 2 of his clubs and appeared to be making some moderate progress at his last club Oldham with no budget. He seems smart and would probably do a good job.

However he has just joined a tier 5 club who only avoided relegation because the tier 6 season was curtailed by covid. If he has ambitions to coach at a higher level in the UK then he would be best served by staying there - plenty of room for improvement and the opportunity to catch the eye by doing a bit of a Staj, taking them from the bottom of the table to somewhere nearer the top.

Played for us as a striker for one year.... Socceroo.... coached Adelaide City for years... always tho he should get a gig ... not sure if he is still coaching but many said he was an excellent coach

Remember his name Damian Mori
Fantastic striker-quick,strong and could take on defenders.A striker like Murray would have benefited from Mori's coaching.A very good nomination midfielder.
