ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

What can WE do for the Mariners?

all members to bring a friend to at least a couple of home games, surely this is possible and will boost numbers and overall interest in the sport and team we love

I'm thinking if as many members as possible buy an additional 3 or 6 game membership and give it as a present or use it to get people along. I've got a very tight budget but will look at getting one of those on top of my usual season ticket.

Hi Lowlander,

All Membership packages include (and have in the past) some Bring a Friend For Free vouchers, which are included once again this year :)

Deliver pamphlets to every home on the Central Coast, every Friday have one of the Yellow Army on 2GO and Sea Fm tipping the games for that weekend, like what Sterlo does. Radio stations need to do interviews that go for more than 3 minutes. Flags in the Wyong Shire.

Hi Julz! The club are working even closer with the radio station for the upcoming season, and you'll hear plenty more player interviews, promos and once we get closer to the season. Having worked for a Radio Station before, it's very hard to get interviews to go for too long, as they have other businesses/promotions etc that they need to commit to. Keep an ear on Sea FM in the next month or so, you'll be hearing a lot more on Memberships!

Cheers.

. the club has asked the supporters club to help put together a volunteers database, you can register your interest via email:

CCMSupportersClub@hotmail.com.au

Most definitely. We are very lucky to have some passionate fans who have developed the Central Coast Mariners Official Supporters Club. They are fully endorsed by the club, and we are encouraging all fans to get on their mailing list, and be involved. We're looking forward to having a closer relationship with our fans this season!

This may not be the grandest of ideas but...

Nominate a couple of games through the season where the kids can run onto the field at the end of the game. Remember how much fun it was when we could run onto the field after that last game before the re-turfed the field? Tell the kids to bring their footballs with them so then can emulate their heroes after the match.

Identify the two early games against teams and make those ones "Kids Day"... or something. Probably Adelaide on the 26/10 & Heart on the 5/1.

It's only a small idea... but it may engage the kiddies a bit more and get them harassing their parents to take them to future games.

I loved this! I know there is a patch of grass in my parents backyard from when I took a piece home! Sadly, this is all up to council. As the pitch isn't fantastic, the less use (and feet moving across it) the better to keep it in tip top shape!

can members bring their pets?

If they have an assistance animal, they are permitted into the stadium upon request to Stadium Staff. All other pooches and cats? You'll need to leave Fox Sports on at home for them to catch a glance of the game! Or, leave the radio on for them, tuned to Coast FM!

Can't make the first two, but keen for 21/8.

As for what we can do, clog up mates' Facebook newsfeeds with posts saying that you're going to the game?
