Yeah, I absolutely hate how the defence gets punished for trying to do the right thing. I'm glad I'm not out there applying that law - hate to be telling some O/35 players that the bloke who was 10 yards offside was allowed to score because your other defender lunged for the ball but could only get a toe on it.

There's a clause about it still being offside if it's a 'save' which is a ball going into or close to the goal'....but if that's the interpretation, I don't think that's right.

Great game, on balance going into the second half it probably should be a draw but we have both had our chances.
