ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Guys

If my memory serves correct

Director - Bob Graham
Director - Belinda Neal

Both were representative of Gosford and Wyong councils

what I find interesting is they are saying Ray A is no longer on the board......

Fact that neal is no longer a representative of Gosford council should mean she is off the board as well?

IMO, I don't think the Telegraph article sullies our good name. It's certainly a poor reflection on Awadallah, Neal and Della Bosca and does go to show the grubby reality of politics and the people invloved.

As for Ms Neal, I voted for her at the last Federal election... but never again!  :redcard: She claims to be a champion of the worker... but to allegedly threaten the Iguanas staff with their jobs is a disgustingly low act!  :redcard: :redcard: And you're correct Headcase, she is serving a suspension after being sent off. :redcard: :redcard: :redcard:

Let's rid ourselves of this stain!!!!

well she is holding her seat by a whisker, she is essentially a sitting duck for a liberal campaign to target at the next federal election.

this is my first time on the forum and as a passionate supporter of the mariners i am very disturbed that the mariners have someone of questionable character on the board.I would have thought it would be far better for the club to have no political people attached to the board at all.anyway it was just my thoughts.

. the thing of interest i took from that news article:

Mr Awadallah, Mr Della Bosca and Ms Neal shared the club's VIP box at matches at Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium until he resigned from the board in April this year.

He said they did not socialise.

"I haven't spoken to Belinda for over eight months, not a word of a lie. I have met John twice," he said.

. it is a bit unclear on the dates but seems that two directors didn't even talk to one another for more than 6 months .... most of which was in the heat of last season (and they may have even been sharing the VIP box while not talking)  :ashamed:

Yes you are right. For every comment that is now forthcoming there are more questions than answers arising from them.

According to the results of the federal election a number of you hating her probably voted for her to be your representative, why is she good enough to represent you but not good enough for CCM?

Not in her electorate so the issue of not voting for her didnt arise.

Would have been v tough choice (Party/Person).

The CCF's own rules are that you cannot speak or contact the media in any way or form without their permission, I think it's bull myself, let's see if there are any consequences.

So why did her coach go on 2UE to give his version of events (that have been completely contradicted by everyone else involved).

He also claimed the ref got it completely wrong.

Including the one who really counted.

The CCF gave her two weeks for " an occasion where my boot made contact with the other players boot - it was a minor incident and as a result the referee made a decision."

Strange how the other player had bruises on her knee.

Strange also that for a minor incident the player involved with no prior record was given TWO WEEKS SUSPENSION.
