ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I understand your sentiment but I'm not sure we should be burning it to the ground just yet and if we get silly with it the result could be damaging for the players we want to keep or the ones we want to recruit. A repeat of last seasons collapse helps noone. I'm all for giving Kekeris, Nisbett, Murray, Macdonald, etc.. a bit more time and at least making the match day squad even if it means they need to rotate the bench spaces.

I'm ok with not playing Millar, but if you're not playing O'Neill you may as well not play Jem, and the two young blokes on loan. That's 5 starting XI players gone.
I get what your saying Turbo however how can one win and four draws be better than last years collapse. This season is an absolute disgrace and I would take either of Okon’s seasons over this one. The youngsters should get some game time but not starting in front of good players, Miller excluded. I’m 100% we will get the spoon and only have one win for the season.

I think it comes down to how much fight we show and finishing the season looking better rather than worse. There's going down fighting and there's getting destroyed 8-2. We already had our collapse early and aside from that WSW game we had been on the road to recovery this year. The spoon looks likely but we'll have a better idea after we play the roar, get 3 points and maybe we can dodge it. I'm happy to save the doom and gloom until then.

Delaying the doom and gloom for a couple of days - probably a good tactic for general mental health as a supporter of this club

We are not fighting to make the six, we are not fighting to avoid relegation. There are eight games remaining in this season.
Any player who has no chance of being here next year should be training by themselves and we should be giving as many possibles and probables a run in preparation for putting a squad together next year.
I am thinking Kekeris, Nibett and others in the youth, also let's give Murray every chance to find his feet at this level. Give Pearce some more game time so that if he is to be #2 keeper next year he will have gained some experience.
Good-bye Millar, Kennedy and now O'Neill, and anyone else who has signed elsewhere.
Giving them game time now does not help next season. This year is gone, there is nothing to be salvaged.
Make use of the last eight games.

LOL...so you havent seen Pearce in Goals then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmm, Pedj was one-dimensional and it worked for him. I think within the right structure Millar will still be good. Much better than Austin. NOT BEING A MILLAR APOLOGIST :D

Yes, because I think the difference is positional.

A fullback (what Millar is closer to, and will be presumably be playing at the Jets) involves a fair amount of overlapping.

But a winger (like Austin) needs a bit of guile to go along with the running. The ability to beat a man etc.
