ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Recommend a movie.

grimsby ! pommy fat pizza

Thanks for the tip TB!!! defo gonna sniff that out.

LOL. Only been there once. Slept in the car in a field on the outskirts with 3 hooligans and 1 pretty young nurse (her car, my mate could charm a movie star) and climbed the gates and had a run on the ground pretending to be Arthur Graham at 8am the next morning. Bloody freezing so no chance of sleeping in! Also bloody hard to climb out once the adreniline wears off.

The outskirts are very nice but the town itself is a shit hole. Leeds completey took over the town that day so we were safe as but credit to Grimsby when 50 Leeds climbed the fence to run them in their end they stood their ground and battled back so much that the Leeds were glad to be rescued by the police. I think Grimsby and Hull are so isolated they take great umbrage when outsiders swan in.
A hugely amusing day.

I watched The Accountant, John Wick 2 and Logan on the plane.

The Accountant was very good and Logan is ultra violent but worth watching.

The Big Short. Caught that on Netflix last week. Witty/infuriating/entertaining movie centered around the housing bubble/mortgage crisis in The US, and a bunch of investors who saw it coming. Really enjoyed it.
From the same director as Anchorman.

Hacksaw Ridge was suprisingly good but Mel Gibson is a very talented Director.

I also enjoyed Get Out and Shot Caller. Not brilliant but good entertainment.

60's hippie Viggo Mortensen lives off grid and home schools his 6 kids, all of whom are extremely intelligent but have never interacted with the modern world until forced to in tragic circumstances.

The kids are hilariously smart.
