ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

First half, we look ok going forward at times, should have 2 on the board with Roy having two 1-1 chances. The first goal Posco screwed up a back pass and they had 2-1 on us and scored. Second goal it went wide to Novillo, Roux didn't follow him out, some nice passing/dummy into the box and they slipped it in. Mooy has barely done anything, Ascroft had marked him right out of the game.

Fitzy, Austin, Roux look good going forward. Fitzy showed some incredible skill with a backheel at one stage, and Cas butchered the return pass.

Biggest difference - quality. They have it up front, we don't.

I'd rather play with ten men than odonovan. His misses demoralized the whole team, you could see the confidence drop. We're going to remain wooden spoon contenders until we get a striker.
Austin is having a cracker though.
This is just dreadful. I'm sure there's a striker in the Southern and Ettalong U/14s who would be happy to have a go. We can do a rotation

f**k me dead. 0-3. We look very average. Good strike from Novillo but boy are we making this easy.

We seem to be getting less refined as the season goes on.

We'll be better with Fab and Monty back but we are a seriously thin squad and unless we start to recruit rather well - urgently - this season could be a spiralling write off.

I was at the game for the 1st. half and left (early start tomorrow morning) We *do* look like a bunch of real enthusiastic kids playing against a team of men, I hope we at least get one goal on the scoreboard to give the team and our supporters a little bit of hope.
