ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

That’s how he plays elsewhere on the pitch but he just needs to temper it in the box

He should be able to do that with the right guidance. I have to wonder if he (along with Jem) is being pushed to be really physical due to our defensive issues and giving away fouls and attracting cards more than usual in the process. No doubt they are that kind of player but if they had more faith in the back line perhaps they could dial it back just a bit.

Thought his ball retention and passing were the equal of any on the field in that game. He has come a long way since beginning of the season. And what was he supposed to do when the penalty was given ? Stand there and let the guy get a shot off. And to be fair some of the so called penalties that were given against him were very soft, certainly we would never have been given them.

ALL blatant penalties. Its the sign of a very inexperienced player. Once the ball is in the box everything changes when you are defending..

Is that HAL matches - or can he serve 2 against FFA Cup opponents (now there is a bit of optimism - 2 games in the FFA cup!!)

Three match suspension for Rowles
Typical FFA kick the Mariners in the balls result imo.

Whilst the tackle may have looked ugly and it was reckless, it certainly wasn’t malicious and Baumjohan wasn’t forced off with injury, so a one game ban would have been sufficient.

If I was the club, I would definitely be appealing the severity of the punishment.
