ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Clisby is back in at LB. Interesting.
I'm not surprised really. Oar wasn't going to be there that long.
It was an experiment that wasn't working as I don't think Oar wasn't quite good enough to do the job required, and we were missing him upfront.
Hopefully Clisby can do OK, and Oar can get some crosses in for Jair.

Oar at left back was not really working. He is not a natural defender and we lose an attacking option having him there instead of further up the field where he is more suited. I'm more worried about Milan being out

Probably a different line up to what they and we were expecting. I’m interested to see how they line up but I’ll have to record this one.

Hopefully the time out has gotten Clisby more focused and he can bring his A game.

Also a good chance for Nisbet to get some minutes. Injury or unexpected subs aside you’d have to think we’ll see Murray, Silvera and Nisbet (in no particular order)

Most attacks were coming down Oars side...so ur was still a big problem and I thought we missed what Oar has been doing so well in earlier games... tbf he chased and got back better than Clisby - clearly more heart and engine - but I don’t think he combined well when back with our cb’s.

Clisby though.., If he lets players simply run past him without giving chase again, I’m going to go ballistic.

Milan is just simple rotation, remember the coaching staff were VERY concerned he had a hernia that’s why he missed a couple games/was benched. Short turn around. GG adds some bite in the tackle. Good to see Miller is getting a real run of games now. The best Miller to ever play RB for us ;)

I hope being dropped for almost a month has given Clisby a huge f**king wake up call that he could be heading back home to Perth to play NPL if he doesn’t sort his shit out.

Sounds like that groin injury is something that has to be managed long term... osteitis pubis Maybe? Hope not.

Edit - just saw Michaels post. Ok hernia, so managing that till surgery I guess.

I just remember FoxSports asked staj pre game about it when Milan was benched and he said they were worried he had a hernia so they were being very cautious. He basically confirmed he didn’t. But yeah, it’s a positive of staj I reckon, takes no risks with key players. I mean he made a lot of us believe Kim wasn’t up to it early on with how cautious he was and now Kimmy is really starting to show his quality.

And there another one for Clisby. Fool me once Shame on you... this one’s on Staj. Clisby is too slow physically and mentally to play as a wing back.

Call up Hatch, this just absurd now. We were once again looking decent till then.
