ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

We were at the back of 26 and the lack of coordination was pretty obvious TBH.

We just sung our own stuff.

We just have to find away of getting all the standers in one place. Look at the pix and you can see people sitting everywhere.

i agree. that is a clear issue.

i think we really need to reach the community on this one and try to get them to understand our intent, and the fact that we cant pull of the show majority of them enjoy watching us display if people are buying tickets for our area with the intention of sitting down and complaining about people standing.

it would obviously have to go through the club and everything and it could also be a good chance to perhaps declare another bay for the marinators supporters?

Don't think we can really complain too much about the (lack of) noise at the grand final, because of the fantastic work by the FFA and their brilliant ticketing system, which forced all Mariners fans into the seats at the end, not just the ones who wanted to stand and sing.

Number of days until Scum trolls get bored and leave the grown ups alone.

Also, how dare you critcise the FFA?? That (apparently V nice) Ms Fernadez did a fabulous job. 15 months ban for you son.

Here you are movers and shakers ... a development project in the making so get along to this:

Leading global thinkers on regional development will headline the Australian
Regional Economies Conference 2008 to be held in May 2008 at Terrigal.

Professor Brian Dabson from the Truman School of Public Affairs at the
University of Missouri-Columbia will discuss how entrepreneurship works to
energise and evolve regional economies.  Professor Dabson has been Research
Professor at the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs since November
2004.  He has written and presented extensively on various aspects of
economic development policy and practice, with a particular focus in recent
years on entrepreneurship and economic development in rural America.

Professor Dabson will be joined by the man charged with re-building New
Orleans after the devastation of cyclone Katrina, Professor Ed Blakely.
Apart from his current challenge of heading the re-construction authority in
New Orleans, Professor Blakely is the Director of the Planning Research
Centre at the University of Sydney, Chair of the Metropolitan Strategy
Reference Panel and the Chair of Urban and Regional Planning at the
University of Sydney.

Entrepreneur and businessman, Neville Sawyer, will also be a keynote
speaker.  Mr Sawyer is a former President of the Australian Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, a director of Australian Made Campaign Limited and a
member of the Prime Minister's Science, Engineering and Innovation Council.
He is a cofounder of Newcastle-based electrical and electronics products
manufacturer Ampcontrol.

The NSW Minister for Lands, Rural Affairs and Regional Development, Tony
Kelly, has also agreed to speak at the conference.

This conference is designed to provide the latest in theory as well as
practical solutions for practitioners and is targeted to: Business &
Industry Leaders, Local Government, Regional Economic & Enterprise
Development Entities, Area Consultative Committees, Policy Makers,
Academics, Educators and Researchers, Community Development Personnel and
Consultants.
