If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Honestly why wasn't simon subbed last 5, or casella and janota earlier, all weakened or were spent I'll take the win, but I hope it's a good learning curve for staj

Garcia's decision to put on his attacking talent in the second half certainly had us struggling AND negated the Kuol effect. But the two goals in the first half were well taken. We need Kuol to avoid a yellow next game because he will be needed for us to repeat the dose at home.

Expect him to stay In cotton wool till perth

That was a gutsy and scrappy second half and we will need to be better against the Bulls and Perf at home but still winning when you aren’t playing well is a sign of a good side.

We needed to do better with the limited chances we created after the restart and Casella was giving me kittens with the amount of time and space he was allowing Ota, so that is something that Staj will hopefully pick up on during the video review.

He’s the only one that doesn’t get the two banks of four in defence. Keeps coming out of the line.

Bouman has cemented that spot after tonight.

So according to Staj, he spoke to strebre and if your offside and play for the ball but don't touch it is play on.........wtf??? When did that change?
It didn't. The action needs to be an obvious action clearly impacting an opponents ability to play the ball. I'm hoping Staj has just misinterpreted something, although Delovski has been known to make factually wrong statements about the law in his current position. Heck, he did with the handball penalty against us.

We'll have Stens back for our next match against Perth which should stabilise us through the 90mins somewhat better.

When we were stable this game we had their measure, defended calmly and were dangerous in return. We missed scoring by a hairs width several times and we could easily have had 4 or 5 if they were slightly better shots.

Perth's second half assault put us on notice and we weren't at our best at all but was mainly a lot of balls into the area...not so many shots on goal. Attached stats are telling.

Also their only goal was offside (imo it did interfere enough).

Next time they'll start all their weapons. If Stens is on and we hold them out with our disciplined banks of four I think we'll win it again.

Get in lads!

Both goals were fantastic. Fantastic assists and goals.

DDS stood out. Matty and Ollie too.

Very excited and stoked to win that. Poor sub decisions need to be reviewed, Simon was running on empty, otherwise great.

I kept saying to my wife... this is it, the little team that could is back.

A very emotional evening for me, I'm so proud of the effort shown... this finally feels like the Mariners of days gone by have returned.

Win or not give your all and we stand together. If you can give your all together we will win but even if u don't, we'll stand with you. Go hard, we're watching.
