ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The other thing that has happened in the last 24 hours is that Mitchell has been resigned.

How long has Van Egmond got, a Scummers wooden spoon looks on the way, but Con doesn't like terminating contracts.

This is just one reason a 2nd Sydney club is a fantastic idea- it could actually FORCE Sydney FC to raise their game on and off the field.

This is from the SFC board and is probably bollocks but will be interesting to see how long it is before Kossie gets the punt/walks.

I always think any post that has a heading like this one is v suss.

THIS POST IS THE TRUTH !!!!!!

It comes from an extremely reliable source.
He has been involved with the club since day 1.
He works with the players and coaching staff every day.

He has gone on record as saying that Littbarski was the best coach this club has ever and will ever have.
That Terry Butcher was the worst coach this club has and ever will have.
Branko Culina was so far up himself and that the job was too big for him.

It does not surprise him that Popa is out for Kossie's job and Popa has been telling those that want to hear that  Kossie coaching is too "old school"
As soon as Popa signed for Sydney he stabbed his mate and took over the captaincy from him.He then was out to get Culina for having to sit on the bench 2 games in a row.
He wants to coach and will do what it takes to get the job.

There was an interview with Terry Butched on Fox Sports yesterday afternoon...and they looked at the records...and Terry Butcher is actually the second most succesful coach SFC have had. Culina is the worst.

Kossie is now the longest serving coach they've had as well.

I still think GVE will get the chop before Kossie.

And the sad thing is neither Van Egmond nor Kosmina are really to blame for their clubs' malaise, for most part.

Mariners = best run club in NSW by a country mile.

Kossie and Van Egmond.

Surprising Melbourne supporters were calling for Merricks head last year but look where they are now.

The reason why we booed was The players weren't showing any heart. They seemed to lifted in the 2nd half with brosque. But we are all sick of it.

Its a shame that Kossie is under the chopping block, its the last thing we need at sfc. A new manager.
