ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

O’Connor joins Mariners
By John Davidson Dec 4 2018 2:00PM
Former Socceroo Steve O’Connor has been appointed to coach Central Coast Mariners’ Under-20s academy.
O’Connor is of Australia’s most renowed youth coaches and spent 16 years involved with the AIS football program.

The likes of Mark Bresciano, Vince Grella, Alex Brosque and Luke Wilkshire came through the AIS when he was head coach.

The ex-NSL title-winner, who also earned 15 caps for the Socceroos, has had spells as head coach of the Young Socceroos, technical director at Sydney FC and technical director of the Hong Kong Football Association over the years.

A member of the Australian Football Hall of Fame, O’Connor will be tasked with moulding the Mariners’ best young prospects.

He came off at halftime and said to the physio his calf was done. Went straight off to get treatment. I spoke to him in the second half and it seems he’s had this niggle for a while.

Done, as in far as it can go for today - given it was half time? Or as in he’s done his calf again?
