ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Too bad Tottenham's performance since the inception of the EPL have been modest at best. You have to go back to the days of Steve Archibald, Glenn Hoddle, Garth Crooks, Paul Gascoigne (a sad story and a wonderful talent), the sublime Osvaldo Ardiles and Ricardo Villa to remember top-shelf sides from the Lane. That's before you were born. Please, keep up the good work though.

It's a great pity you can't understand or handle cricket, Jared, it is a great game. Not for everyone, but a great, intense, mentally-taxing game nonetheless. Again, the last two Tests at the SCG have been the best kind of sporting entertainment, with two extraordinary matches won by our national team.

Of the Football games I have attended, only the 2005 World Cup qualifier and the 3-0 semi-final win go even close to the Tests mentioned above. The amazing 1981 Epic in Miami is another that comes to mind.

And yes, the 4-4 thriller was a beauty, quite surprisingly. The Arse will still be having nightmares over that one, I would suggest. I think this was the game where there is a YouTube of two supporters doing commentary of the match. At times funny, uplifting, tragic, wonderful. What Football is about.

Come on guys. Cricket rocks.
7 countries can't all be wrong.

For me, football offers everything that is wanted in a sport, so I feel it is a mighty tough task for other sports to compare.

In recent study, cricket was shown to have only 76 emotions elicited in spectators over 12874623 minutes.
