Not sure if your taking the piss with this one or not (its so hard to tell these days) but when the olyroos played iraq at bluetongue we chanted it to the iraqi's. So its just the squadron rip off.

And to be fair, if it was their keeper who was missing the olympics, id be singing it to.

Did anyone see the SBS "The World Game" show today regarding this game? apparently they showed 7 minutes of the game, interviews, the crowd and so on...so I was told!

yeh they sure did....wasnt extensive ....lot in the mariners rooms, sonic, dylan, brad porter, hutcho...laurie spoke of kwasi....showed the jets goal...etc etc



ALSO...all nite dwight was on saying he was in talks up till a month ago and was willling to take a huge pay cut and he has a sunderland offer on the table for july 1...oh and JEDI got his head on the telly...but francis awaratife was in between Jedi and Foster...so he couldnt slap foster in his peezie arse head for us

It was a very interesting interview with Dwight. He stated that he had been in talks with us for almost a year and signaled that he was disappointed that nothing came of it. I think it would have been a massive gain for us and as RECKY said above, he was willing to take a huge pay cut.

Dwight Yorke here would have been an on field disaster....... a 4347634 thousand year old DM, who's more interested in his nights out at Iguana's and Red than anything the Mariners are doing.

We already have a DM who is far better at being a DM than Dwight is - take a bow Mile Jedinak.

Agreed, for them I thought it quite clever.

Can you imagine how we would have bagged Covic in similar circs. Danny might need to get used a fair bit of stick this season.
