ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think Bear told me he put the lot on the Mariners 3-0 this week so unfortunately we lost the whole bankroll.

On a completely unrelated note, there will be a party in Baker St in a couple of weeks ;)

What are we up to Bear heading into the last round?

Sorry guys, iv been M.I.A for the last week or so, but the results are in....

My small brain and narara valley high education tells me that our total is $387.60 for the league, which means everyone who gave me $20 all those months ago will now recieve $18.457143 back. Not bad for a year full of "Perth MUST win soon, chuck a tenna on them bear" and "Put my cash on 76-0 mariners vs scum bear, thats a great bet".

CONGRATULATIONS MARINATORS, not a bad year at all. Syndicate will be back next year bigger and better (its 21 rounds of DJ betting with our money ;))

And yes adz, there will be a party in Baker St soon, im thinking, hhmmmmmm, after we win the GF, sound good to you?

$20 in, $18 out - Proof again that gamblings a mugs game.

ooh don't even start me on this argument... no proof here mate. gambling by picking random results and not doing any research is a mugs game... just like anything else it takes a lot of work to make profit on sports "investing" ;)

I only half agree. Granted, this mug did minimal research and bet on emotion not logic for probably 20% of my attempt, eg. As a rule, never bet on a Scum win, always bet on a Mariners win.

I'm sure there are some 'sure bets' out there, like any Kiwi team will come last, and betting on Breeze being a total c#@t, etc.

One the other hand, I've seen too many keen sports punters that put in vast amounts of time and effort on 'research' only to remain dirt poor. But maybe I just mix in the wrong circles!

Personally I just don't see the A-League being a predictable bet - too many variables, too much inconsistency...

Good fun though!

pfft, we only lost $1.50 each

great fun and bonded the marinators more

worth every cent

Yep. I was quite expecting to lose the lot, so great to get some back. Without ploughing back through the posts, who scored the best result?
