ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Least favourite city that you have been to (excluding Newcastle)

Gosford,  :p

Seriously

Sydney - CBD is a joke.  I like suburban parts though

Canberra - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Coffs Harbour is overrated, I'm probably just saying this cause of our shitty experience up there

Melbourne is very organised but they're victorians so I must hate them.  ;D

If ever we needed a testing site for a nuclear device, Canberra would have to be the place.

100% agree re Mururundi too

and Cardiff (both here and in UK)

Sydney hands down, OK opera house and bridge but man, even Houston has more greenery.

San Antonio is on the favourite list

Sorry, but that's hilarious. I'm sitting in the uni library where I'm about 3km from the city and I'm surrounded by trees. All the surrounding suburbs have trees poking out between the houses and buildings.

The CBD has few trees, but that's about 2 square kilometres in an absolutely enormous city. Even there, you've got Hyde Park, Tumbalong Park, the Domain and the Botanic Gardens all around. Basically unless you're standing in the middle of George St there are trees around.

There are reasons to dislike Sydney as a city (property prices, traffic, the football club), but at the same time there are a bunch of reasons why I've been living here for basically the last ten years and there are a bunch of ways I'd want the Central Coast to become a bit more like Sydney before I considered moving back.

Port Arthur (aside from the convict joint which is fairly nice), the town and surrounding "suburbs" are a joke

many moons ago on a young labor conference me and some fellow comrades found ourselves in this awesome little underground indie rock bar in the valley, i think it was the indie temple? not sure.

anyway, they had great bands and jugs of some horrendous but generously mixed dark spirit and coke for about $6. for young troublemakers on a budget that was pretty much the sale of the century.
