Sydney Olympic FC are excited to announce the signing of former Central Coast Mariners and Australian Youth International Peter Kekeris.

Kekeris has come through the FFA Centre of Excellence and Central Coast Mariners academy before making his A-League debut for the Mariners against Melbourne City in 2018, earning a professional contract for the 2018/19 A-League Season.

Sydney Olympic CEO John Boulous was delighted with the signing saying;

“Having just turned 20, Peter is exactly the player we are looking for to compliment our squad, Peter is fast and importantly has a strong appetite to continue his development in an Olympic squad boasting some already very experienced players and promising youngsters”.

“Abbas and his coaching staff are an exceptional group of mentors who provide all players a football environment and culture to reach their potential”.

“It is great to welcome Peter back to the club, where he played youth football in 2011 and 2012, before moving into the Institute programs”.

Kekeris is looking forward to joining the squad and starting immediately;

“It is an honour to join such a proud club like Sydney Olympic and I am looking forward to contributing to a very talented squad that is currently in great form”

“It is great to be back at Sydney Olympic, it is my home club and a club that’s very close to my heart”.
