ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm just waiting for us to hit our straps. We were playing well but without luck pre-Covid and since then have added Jason and effectively Muller (with Matty still to come - important to keep the intensity at the back end of a game). When we are at our best I think we can take on anyone. But is our intensity down every so slightly since Covid causing us to drop points we shouldn't?

Give me a truly fully fit squad and we can and will beat anyone in the ALM

Our midfield was dominated and our forward line isolated in the cup. CD and a fitter side is a big help. But Popavic will always look to stop us from playing. And if we’re smothered by the press we’ll struggle. And if we just try to hit on the counter. They’ll just pull us down on our best breaks anyway.

what to do?

Spot on, I feel we will struggle in this game and we still don’t have our mojo back from pre covid. CD will only be effective if we can do better in the mids.

We haven’t gotten close to our pre covid form yet. Other teams are hitting form and we are sadly yet to get back to where we were. It’s been a cruel season.

First of three games away in a week. Victory have faltered since lifting the cup.

I expect a similar game plan by both sides to the Cup game. We should be fitter and stronger from that hand and also have the Cum Dog.

Hard to call this match.
it keeps coming down to nizzy . in attack and defence if he can get back to any level of fitness .
ccm fortunes change dramatically . this to a lesser degree applies to cy as well.

Would have rathered a draw in this game.

Now Victory will come hard at us fired up looking to end their little slump.

Hopefully their recent failure has already gotten in their heads and laid some eggs. Haha
So they push for balls which aren’t there and frustrate them selves out of our game.

Reverse it and press them hard.

Our players will have a useful gap between games (unlike the tards), the cup loss in the back of mind, and knowing we should have won our last 2 draws. I think we'll be up for this.

You'd hope Monty saw what the rest of us did about our midfield being clamped and has a plan for it.
