Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. No out and out striker but this team wouldnt have a shortage of goals in them! I just cant see who I would sacrifice out of messi, ronaldo and kaka for a proper striker and considering Kaka sometimes plays 'last man' for Ac Milan I guess he could be as much as a striker as possible
Justifications
for Toure- athletic,smart and great asset going forward...I think next to a typical defender in mould of Terry, Ferdinand, Carvalho, Vidic, Nest etc. he would be feeling really comfortable
Kaka- world player of year- need I say more
Messi- runner-up and will be runner-up again (to Ronaldo this time).
Gerrard- Such a driving force- best CM in world- freekicks, volleys, headers, long range shots, 1 on 1s, assists, leadership, dribbling etc. Can even defend a bit- can play anywhere from left back to second striker (in the hole). Is there a more all round player in the world- the answer is no!

And to answer your question - my dream team is not my favorite, no. My 'favorite' team would be a hybrid between the Socceroos, the Mariners, and Manchester United.

EDIT: Before anyone comes to Serious14's rescue- read in context- looks a lot worse by itself but it looked (and was in my mind) a clear contrast to favourite players...
