ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I was talking of Ziggy. I saw Mick's post and just looked at the post above and saw Ziggy's name. Assumed that was who he was talking of.
Mind you, I thought he was being very tolerant.

Ahh yeah I did a double take when I saw who they released for the same reason. And yeah back 3 is a better fit for him I think.

If we can't get a signing of minimum his ability as a striker, do any of you who watch the academy have confidence any of the strikers there could step up as comfortably as Hall? Cahill perhaps?
I don't think there are any players currently in the Academy that are ready to step up as competent A-league level strikers. And I don't put Smylie in that category either. We need to invest in one and bring some of the Academy lads into the A-league squad environment, releasing them to play in the NPL squad on weekends.
Tsekenis and Macarthy would be two I would be looking to bring into this setting.

According to the sources at The Bridge, the ace striker Roy Krishna is wanted by the four clubs, two from the A-League and two Indian Super League clubs Mumbai City FC and FC Goa. There were rumors earlier this year that the Mariners had offered Roy Krishna a mega-contract, but now the situation looks different.

Mega deal? Really?
