ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Bullshite vs CCM away

Watching the game again, we are 10 x better than the bullshite after their goal. It's a flashback to the start of the season and a serious boost for what's to come.

Who said our seasons done? Give yourself an uppercut........?

Obviously Fox skimping on cameras is the root cause but the cameramen usually do a pretty decent job anyway, I think he just got caught out slightly and wasn’t far off having them in the shot.
They're was a camera at the other end to rule Clisbys second out............ So why didn't we see that same angle at the other end for their first? I'm betting it wasn't there.

Having a look at the Bullshites first goal and I'm sure the only reason it was given is because fox didn't have a camera angle to rule it off side. On slow mo, 1-2 frames after the pass, it looks as though the scorer would have been at least a shoulder in front of Tongyik.
Bring on Paramount+
Just got home and enjoying a beer.
Live from where we were I thought he was onside.
I think Birraz was convinced he was offside.

Just because you’re paranoid, it doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you Scottmac....

This may be wrong, but I'm sure I read the broadcast crew are not Fox employees.
Could we be actually watching the same kind of coverage next year?

Fox subcontracts it but they still set the parameters. Next year the APL will have a lot more say in production and camera numbers being able to scale up or down for various fixtures and probably across A & W league too.

Could you imagine if this happened in, say, the NRL?
The cameraman framed the shot in a manner that couldn't capture what needed to be shown?

Or, say, there was a controversy in AFL on whether the ball was touched as it was crossing the line in goals, but the camera didn't have the goals in frame?

There'd be a goddammed Royal Commission.

This is actually a massive, massive error that the AL should be coming down on like a ton of bricks.

They won't though, so the broadcaster won't be held responsible for this.

Sure, it's human error, and I'm not seeking to get anybody fired, but it still needs a big deal made out of.

Basically, there's a goal that was possibly (almost certainly) offside, and because the cameraman stuffed up (and Fox are too cheap to have more than 1 suitable camera, but that's another issue), we didn't have our very expensive Hawkeye for this.

Not all that different to MV's GF goal, in a way.

Just saw the replay for our second and guess what........no camera angle other than half way to see if urena was offside........... anyone see any replays of anything down that end shot from anything other than the other end of the field?

Will we see Hall come in or Miller?
If Miller comes in we lose the ability to switch out Nigro and change our attack up the right side. You could put hall on and push Miller over but that’s disruptive and won’t have the same fresh legs impact. Of the two I think it will be Hall.

I just hope we don’t try to do something like putting Bozanic or Stensness back there which I think would hurt our structure more.

No idea how they got five minutes. But WHAT. A. WIN!

Should have belted them but hey, we're into the finals and full of confidence. Ruon, thank you, incredible season, wouldn't be here without you. Will we see Hall come in or Miller?
Think we will see the combo again. Hall struggled with the fitness element of stepping up to A League CB and rightly so and now teams are in full flight I don’t expect thar to change.
I think we will see Nigro hold his spot as RB now for the remainder of the campaign and Miller will be the sub if needed on Hall or Rowles
