ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I liked the tifo on Saturday night. Didn't really understand it but it was different and made me do a classic double take... followed by a wtf?! Anything different is good.

Anyway, is there a story behind the smilie faces?

Both Sydney and Melbourne Tifos were rejected by Etihad secos.
Both pullovers banned because of melbournes continual ripping of flares underneath?

TBF to security, how freakin dangerous is ripping a flare under a pullover tifo.

Apart from smoke inhalation can you imagine the carnage if the tifo caught fire?

The last time we played the Scum at BT one of them ripped a flare under their tifo pullover. I thought it such a pity that the whole thing didn't catch alight...

Meaning yours will be used this week? *if it wasn't directed at Melbourne*

was or wasnt, doesnt matter now. In fact they had a card display, which had nothing to do with hiding flares under pullovers.

The reason for banning was the handful of flares under their pullover against GC. Stupid rule that all away sides will suffer from it.

Was made for melb and i wonder if they had similar plans as Legia Warsaw who did it originally in which they would pull it down and rip a heap of flares.

Maybe Shock will confirm(not that i expect him to) ;)
