wouldn't 'has blown his knee out' be past tense? the word blown sounds pretty past tense to me

i thought 'is blowing his knee out' is present tense.

correct me if i am wrong.

that would be the only time it is present tense though, wouldn't it?
if you said it after it, then you would have to be talking in past tense.
