Sorry but the last bit of genius from Torres aside that was horrible.
Alou isn't a #9, I don't know what Theo was supposed to be doing. Jacko seemed ropeable at some of his decision making.
We played at Roars level but at least we won.
3 for Torres
2 for Faz
1 for Max

Why doesn't the coast back this team? 6000 people on a Saturday night with a 7:45 kick off.
7.45 is a shit time for our crowd. My mate who's been really keen this season didn't come. No reason other than its a shit time.

Cahn is starting to get Brisbane playing good football but they never really worried us in the first half even if we let them have plenty of possession.
Doka played well. Happy with that performance.
Nizz was marked heavily which he managed well for the most part.
Theo frustrates me he plays with commitment and enthusiasm but does not get his head up enough. He often jars the free flowing attack but is playing too well to be replaced. As I said frustrating.
Kuol does not anticipate well. Makes some good runs in the hope of a through ball but seems unable to time his runs for a cross. As a couple of learned fans said to me at half time he could be good as a #10 hold up with our new striker feeding off him.
Saw enough of Miggsy to be convinced #10 is his position. Still young but could be special.
Ronald looks like he could be an excitement machine. Looking forward to his development.
Love the way that Torres runs into three defenders and comes out the other side with the ball at his feet. If you watch the replay there is as much skill with the ball as there is strength. Great fun.

Torres clearly MOM. (told you so......again)

It was quite obvious who was the weakest link.

The press Cahn set them up for early first half was actually very tidy, I’m sure he’ll do something decent up there with time on the training park and some of his own signings. They made it difficult but our boys persevered and Jacko made an adjustment to target Hingerts side (said so post match).

We just need a ruthless and hungry striker to complete the puzzle right now along with a fully fit squad, alou did not cut the mustard tonight. I’m sure he works hard at training but he doesn’t look into it on match day and hasn’t basically all season. Somethings going on with him… as has been mentioned Jings rise in form along with a new main man in town should be enough encouragement, he doesn’t look phased…

Really enjoyed the game. Although a nailbiter at times! Vuka was MoM for me, 3 very important saves. His positioning was excellent tonight. Surely he kicks on next season?

Kaltak was excellent.

My friend asked me why I don't like Doka, I corrected him that I don't think he's a bad player or a good player, just an average player. He works very hard, effort always 100% and he does a pretty good job. Every team needs these players in their squad. Typical of a visa? No, but that's OK too, he's contributing and doing a reasonable job. I think there will be a marked difference when he has Ronald in front of him from the get go.

Balard had a very strong game, he's a midfield rock, exactly what you want from a 6.

Great finish from Miggsy, got the goods, just needs to be fed.

Like this fixture last season, final scoreline could have been double what it actually was with some better finishing. Although in past games I've accused them of trying to walk it into the net, but tonight they were doing the opposite and taking shots from too far out, going for the spray and pray.

Looked a level above Brisbane all game regardless, they only had 2 real threatening chances all game and CCM had at least double that, another 3 points to finish on a good note a day that (as an LFC fan) has been rather conflicting.

Peeled these off the overhead station sign on the lower car park side of Gosford as well, although a couple still remain if anybody wants to have a crack. Did what I could for the moment:

Crisis of confidence? Or maybe some disappointment that he's made a backwards step. Don't forget that he came back to play under and be developed by Monty. He's getting his chance under Jacko but something does seem a little off. Imagine being the first pick striker and seeing 2 guys get signed that are probably ahead of you....

Everyone’s been crying out for a Saturday 7.45pm KO and then complain that it’s too late for families when we finally get a (deserved) prime-time slot.

Alou didn’t set the world alight tonight but works a lot harder than most give him credit for.
Brisbane came with a game plan to stop us playing through the middle and try and choke the passing lanes and for the most part it worked - bearing in mind they probably don’t have the personnel.
Vintage CCM? Not even close. 3 points and an important W? f**kin oath.
