Wow.That was a real tough scrap.Top save from Danny early to deny Erwin's strong header.We played a canny game-in that heat kept the ball for long periods and though we didn't really look penetrative in the first half we had our our chances but Edmo could not convert.

Smart coaching from Jacko to put Barcellos on in the second half.He worried Al Ahed's defence every time he touched the ball.We pressured them so well in the second half though their defending in the box was resolute.Great to see Kuol score the winner especially against that c..t of a keeper .Top pass from Ronald to Kuol.

Isn't it great to be a Mariners fan.

Whatever happens for the rest of this season and whether we win the treble or not, I don't even know how this double is even possible - playing every few days, ridiculous amount of travel, and winning the premiers plate on weekends and nipping off long haul midweek to win the AFC cup. What an achievement. What a team. What a club.

I feel like our fitness and conditioning coach must be one of the unsung heroes of this season. To achieve what we have on such a gruelling schedule is remarkable.
