ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Can anyone help with a link to this cup we're in?! All i can seem to find is the Asian cup. Have the possibles for the draw been locked in by now?

Edit: So it seems to be this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023–24_AFC_Cup

This is the official website: https://www.the-afc.com/en/club/afc_cup.html

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AFCCup

Twitter (or whatever it's called now X or some bollocks): https://twitter.com/AFCCup

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theafchub

These are the teams in the ASEAN zone so far:

Still some playoff games to play Weds 23rd to decide the last 2 teams in our zone.

Doesn't seem to be an Australian broadcaster listed for this competition....
I think Paramount technically have the rights already if I remember correctly. I think the original wording in their press release was they had bought the rights to all AFC controlled competitions.

So if I'm reading this correctly (which I'm probably not!) it seems our possibles for our "pot" are:

Playoffs:
Tampines Rovers - (Singapore) | or | Phnom Penh Crown - (Cambodia)
PSM Makassar - (Indonesia) | or | Yangon United (MyanMar)

The draw seems to take one team from each of 4 "pots" to add into a group:

This draw simulator is pretty cool:

Basically if i understood it correctly we could end up with any of the below in our group:
Haiphong - Vietnam
Dynamic Herb Cebu - Philipines
Terengganu - Malaysia
Hougang Utd - Singapore
Bali Utd - Bali
Shan United - MyanMar
Stallion laguna - Philipines
Sabah - Malaysia

so possible countries:
Vietnam
Philipines
Malaysia
Singapore
Bali
Myanmar

Hopefully i understood all that correctly.

Should definitely be a great learning experience for the team and staff.

I wonder if DFAT would let the club travel to Myanmar though.
