ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It speaks volumes that some of you talk shit at times. I think you called me out when Maty Ryan had a bad game in early days and i doubted him.......so although i have strong opinions i am not a great judge of keepers apparently
Yeah if I did call you out over Ryan, I was right and you're not a great judge of keepers. Not sure what you're trying to prove there

Fun fact I was a CB/LB for the majority of my senior footy career.
You’re right, Kaltak does have the classic traits of a genuine defender but there’s also levels to it.
if he keeps tonight’s form going consistently, good. It benefits the club. I’ll give credit where it’s due. always.
Good man Michael. I find you one of the best posters on this forum.......but when you are wrong you are VERY wrong. John v Kaltak is a good example so far. Not saying that Kelechi wont be the better player by the end of the season but just saying that your bias right now is flawed.

I like him a lot too.

Sad for Hall, but I do see him and Triantis in front of him now. Hall did really well when he came on for Max though in helping shut down Wanderers efforts to get on the front foot.
You and Wombat (sometimes ;)) are the two posters on this forum who seem to read the games the best. I know wombat watches the replays and FP has a good seat. I have often wondered that the view from Bay 16 does not give a good view of the game.
I have been impressed with Kaltak 2 games in a row now. He can leave passes until the last minute but is a quality defender. I was amazed when last week he copped so much rubbish as did I for giving him points.
Truly it is not worth the angst of fighting and abusing others when we are playing such good football.
Chill out guys (you know who I mean) and enjoy the ride.

Not to throw oil on the fire. And he missed one pass horribly tonight. But kaltak's diags out of defence were just awesome, the best I've seen from a central defender since Dutchy.

I find it all but impossible and unfair to give 321's tonight , but Faz was fantastic. Massive improvement on his balls into the box which was he earlier struggled so badly with that he was dropped. Great game last week and even better tonight.

The way we played tonight reminded me somewhat of Brisbane at their peak under Ange.
Quick play and if the opposition has the ball get in their faces and hustle them into mistakes.

In fact I think this team tonight was better than Ange's Brisbane.
Exactly! Was a very Ange performance which I think is right down to Monty yeah? I second guessed Monty after our first 2 games but today was all him. 100 mins of full field press and we didn't look like losing to the 1st team.

Good point. Best we've ever pressed possibly? The players worked so hard. And though Wanderers tried to leave a foot in or body check on every tackle, never took a backward step, but played smarter as well as faster and harder. Was so, so good to watch.
