ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

After posting I did see someone say he was pulled down in front of an open goal so should have had another there or at least earned a red card (not given btw) but either way it doesn’t seem he was as prolific as you’d hope at that level. Didn’t see the games though so can’t give context on things like parking the bus, refs, team tactics/service, etc..

One silver lining was he only missed the 1 game so far since we got washed out.

Watched the highlights of the Kuwait game and the Iraq game.

Could have scored a hattrick in the Kuwait game but for 1 good save and two poor finishes (by his standards). In the Iraq game his great run and shot caught the arm of the defender and gave us a penalty, also had two shots saved quite well by the keeper.

I see they have released the VAR audio on the Elsey red card from last weekend and copped a bashing for only releasing the least controversial decision of the weekend. Do they take everyone to be morons, would like to hear the audio on both KGJ’s decisions against us at the cake tin. It’s a good initiative but be brave and allow the other decisions to be broadcast.

That’s exactly what they’ve done. Chosen the easiest puff piece that reflects well and fed it to us like we’re morons that don’t know any better. Deserve every bit of shit they get for that.

Anyone streamed Aleague games in the US this season? From my googling doesn’t look like there’s an official partner. Might have to just VPN it.

Last season there was some ambiguity in who had the rights so neither espn or Paramount ended up showing it as the risk v reward wasn’t there. Unfortunately it seems to still be the case.
